To achieve so, there is need of choosing a correct method that will provide maximum efficiency. Thematic learning is one such method through which a child experiences an almost infinite variety of amazing real-life topics, which makes learning enjoyable. Thematic learning is very different from traditional learning methods, it negates the idea of cramming instead TBL focuses on academic skills including language, arts, mathematics, fine arts, science, and various other skills that are essential to express oneself.
We at MARY CONVENT follow learning based on thematic approach. Under this a monthly theme is decided relating to the real world which empowers a child to make real world changes for themselves, their society and on a larger scale even world. Teachers are given flexibility to Mould their teaching styles according to the interests of students.
Our mentors have crafted themes based on interests of learners in a way that it promotes learner’s skills and knowledge through puzzles, activities, projects, assignments, presentations, role play, etc. It is ensured that the Themes are: finely drafted, meaningful, engaging and fun-filled which nurtures the natural curiosity and enthusiasm of childhood.
